Verizon is building an Android-powered tablet

In an effort to match AT&T and their success with iPad, Verizon has announced they’re working with Google on an Android-based tablet.

Very little is known about it at this point, other than the fact that it (according to Bloomberg) will be running Android rather than the upcoming Chrome OS.  No word on size, specs, pricing or availability, though a Verizon spokesman said that they’ll be releasing more information later this week.  We’ll keep you posted.
