Update to Google Sky Map includes Hubble gallery

A recent update to the Google Sky Map app includes a neat new feature — a gallery of images from the Hubble telescope.

Version 1.5 of the app now includes a Hubble image gallery, which is appropriate as we’re near Hubble’s 20th birthday.

The app itself is quite remarkable.  Using GPS, compass and tilt-sensors, you hold it up to the sky and pan around, and it’ll identify the stars you’re looking at.  Here’s a video on how it works:
