The New Google Image Search on Android is Very Slick

Google has just released an updated version of their mobile image search, and it’s quite remarkable.  Available for Android and iPhone, it has the look and feel of a native app, but is actually just an optimized website.

To use it, simply search for something on your device using Google, then tap the “images” button at the top and you’ll be presented with a grid of icons.  Tap an icon to view it large full-screen, and then flick left or right to view others (as if you were viewing a photo album on your phone).
