TabbedOut lets you pay your tab from your phone

TabbedOut is an Android app that lets you pay your tab at bars and restaurants using only your mobile phone.

AndroidGuys have written a review of the app and say to “think of it as Google Checkout for restaurants and bars where you can use a stored credit card to make payments without the need to bring your wallet along.”

While the app currently only works with a handful of venues in Austin and Dallas, TX and Chico, CA, they plan to expand soon.  Rick Orr, the co-founder and CEO of TabbedOut says:

“Having completed development with our first national partner, Future POS, we are focused on taking TabbedOut to a national audience. TabbedOut has proven to be very popular with thousands of users waiting for us to bring the service to their city. We now feel that our product and channels are ready to rapidly expand to meet consumer demand.”
