Flash is coming in Android 2.2

Google’s Andy Rubin, the VP of Engineering, just did a lengthy interview with the New York Times.  He discusses a wide range of topics, but one piece stood out — Flash will part of Android 2.2.

He also promised that full support for Adobe’s Flash standard was coming in the next version of Android, code-named Froyo

So there you have it.  We’re expecting Froyo to be released on or around May 19, so we’ll see if this promise holds true.
