Facebook releases version 2.1 of their app, with inbox support

Facebook has just released version 2.1 of their Android app, which brings with it one nice feature — your Inbox.

While the app is still far from perfect, it’s developing quite nicely.  They’re replaced the photo option from the main screen with the new Inbox icon, but that’s not a big deal since you can do it directly from the camera app.

The app still relies on the mobile site a bit too much, but it’s so much better than it was even a few months ago.  I would hope that by the end of summer we’ll have an app that compares more favorably with the iPhone version.
