In its recently held quarterly meeting, Motorola Mobility disclosed a lot of relevant figures. The company clarified that it has shipped as much as 4.4 million smartphones to a number of retailers in the last three months and sent as many as 440,000 Motorola Xoom tablets around the same period.

The company is now planning to launch its much awaited Motorola Bionic in the month of September. Motorola had introduced the gadget at the CES event and stated that it would serve as a flagship mobile phone for Verizon. However, ever since then rumored launch dates have kept changing until the company disclosed that the gadget would hit the market in September.

Gadget lovers are badly waiting for the phone to hit the mobile phone stores. The reason why the release date for the gadget has been delayed is because Motorola was looking at incorporating changes to its hardware in order to make it more competitive and fit for selling in the market today. Motorola is now focusing on registering growth full of profits and creating and supplying unique LTE based smartphones and tablets.

It is very normal for Android to slash the prices of its leading mobile phones, as their primary aim is to make the gadget affordable. This is why Sprint has made their version of Nexus S available for free of cost along with a two-year contract with Best Buy. Amazon, on the other hand is selling the gadget for only $0.01. This is certainly good news for a gadget that may receive the best updates in the near future.

Only two days before, Sprint released the 2.3.5 update for all its users. This update addresses the slow speed problem users’ face with 4GWiMAX. Following this update, the device will now run much faster and will be even more stable. Therefore, there is simply no doubt in the fact that Android has priced the gadget aggressively.

The mobile phone encompasses 16GB Internal Memory, offers 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot capability along with offers Google Voice capability. It can support up to six Wi-Fi enabled gadgets at a time and also gives the users the opportunity to access Near Field Communication (NFC) technology that enables the gadget to read information from objects such as posters and stickers that are embedded with NFC chips.

The new update comes with improved battery life and allows front-facing camera operation at the time of using Qik share and record. It also helps in addressing reboots that were not expected that had annoyed many a users. Given that G2X has been rolled out only a couple of months ago, this is certainly good news for its users.

There is no denial in the fact that G2X had its share of problems in the form of software bugs, screen bleeding etc., the new update will definitely help in stabilizing the mobile phone much more. T-Mobile must also be given credit for handling the situation very well. This is because a couple of months ago when Samsung Galaxy Vibrant was announced, both T-Mobile and Samsung failed to handle the Android 2.2 Froyo update for the phone. Samsung made an attempt to make the update available through its Kies software, which only worked on PC at that time.

Motorola has officially released the Gingerbread update for its popular device Motorola Atrix 4G. With this update, the company aims to target those mobile phones that are on the AT&T’s network. The company is pushing over-the-air to those users who are running stock builds and have also made it available in the form of manual update for others.

The latest update also brings along with it some nice and essential upgrades. While the Music apps and Gallery has been enhanced, you will also find the latest version of MotoBlur that comes along with dock and well-arranged application tray. The update also allows users to browse Webtop faster in comparison to what it was like before. Besides, users can also access full 1080p video playback and will be able to dismiss notifications one at a time.

This update to 2.3.4 allows users to sideload applications on stock builds. This implies that users of Atrix will no longer need to root their gadgets in order to be able to use the Amazon App Store or for that matter any other alternative application sources. Those who want to opt for the update manually will have to use their Windows PC and then load it onto their SD card. They can even access a Wi-Fi connection on their device to install the update.

As per a post that was shared by the Blog team at Windows, Microsoft has provided developers with effective tools for integrating Windows Live across all leading mobile phone platforms, including Android. So, if you ever created a Hotmail account for yourself you will be able to use it and also enjoy SkyDrive and Messenger on your phone now.

Microsoft has also pointed out that these tools are really going to be easy to use and will be seamlessly integrated for mobile phone users. Users will have to sign in just for once and they will be able to access their Live account across different third-party applications. They will also be providing developers with easy to use instructions and sample code

However, while Microsoft will be more than keen to introduce Windows Live for mobile phones, what the company fails to notice is that people have now got accustomed to using iOS, Android and Mac OS X platforms. Amidst so much of competition it is very unlikely that Windows Live app for mobile will actually be able to create a space for itself.

The phone also encompasses a 600 MHz processor and 1230 mAh battery. The device which is packed with a 3.2 inch wide screen with HVGA resolution, light design and 3G Connectivity offers style and is really affordable in comparison to many other smartphones available in the market today.

If no, then you could always consider using it. Pool Party is basically an application, which allows you to create photo pools of images clicked by a group of users. So, the next time you undertake a trip to any of the location then all the people visiting along with you can click pictures using their Android mobile phones and share the images. These pictures will actually be shared between the groups in a pool. The application also allows friends who are a part of the pool to give their comments on all the pictures, receive notifications anytime a new photo is uploaded. The app offers activity stream that monitors all of this.

Pool Party is useful for those users who wish click and images easily. The app also gives an option of uploading images to other services using the Android share function. In addition to this, the Pool Party application has a design that is similar to the Google+ application. Barriers such as fee, cables and registrations are few things that only complicate things further. However, such users can always opt for Browsix as it does not complicate things as much. This application can be easily grabbed from the Android Market. All that a user needs to do is point his/her browser to browsix.com and their browser will automatically be redirected to their mobile phone.

This is a really simple file sharing application that is available for Android phones at present. What makes the application even more exciting is the fact that one does not have to use Bluetooth configurations or USB cables to operate the features of the apps.

A user basically needs to synchronize files with their computer. They can then listen to their favorite music, show their videos and pictures to their friends and even receive and send SMS text messages easily through the website of the company. However, users who are trying to use the slideshow option may face a sort of delay in the same. But apart from this everything else works really well.

Samsung has managed to sell as many as three million mobile phones in just two months time, however that does not mean that all the leading U.S. carriers are going to line up in order to offer this latest and one of the finest mobile phones released in 2011.

According to a recent report released by Korea based news source Chosunilbo, Samsung is still negotiating with America based telecom operators and companies and have not managed to convince them. This is partly due to the fact that the original Galaxy S series launched by Samsung had its share of problems, which forced the leading carriers to place their trust more on HTC and Motorola so that they could produce CDMA based mobile phones that rely on CDMA network to work efficiently.

Chosunilbo further pointed that U.S. carriers are more receptive to Motorola and HTC in comparison to Samsung. In addition to this, they also pointed that Galaxy S could succeed simply because it did not face any stiff competition from any other mobile phone brands last year. Given that Motorola and HTC have figured out the pulse of the market and are releasing newer and improved alternatives, Samsung is facing stiff competition in the U.S. market.

At that point in time, the company went to the extent of stating that myTouch 4G Slide had the most advanced camera in comparison to all the other smartphones available in the market.

Recently, a video was released on YouTube that revealed a lot more about the camera that has been incorporated in the device. What makes myTouch 4G Slide unique is the fact that it is not an average camera phone. In addition to capturing 8 mega-pixel photos and 1080p High-Definition video, the device incorporates custom software, which allows it to shoot photos in different modes.

Besides, HTC has ensured that myTouch 4G Slide offers one of the fastest digital cameras to its users. The gadget has a dedicated camera button, which focuses when a user half presses it and takes the photograph when he/she presses it completely. Even the on-screen controls respond promptly and the “zero lag” shutter speed is capable of recording images instantly.

It is quite apparent that T-Mobile is trying its level best to impress mobile phone users who want a more advanced camera in their device.
