App-Make have created a new app called ‘Makeloop’.

Makeloop lets you send your contacts questions such as Yes/No and/or Poll questions via SMS and/or e-mail.

This Android app is ideal for team events, parties, nights out and even for use in the business sector. It can organise events such as meetings, parties or conferences. It is a fantastic tool for SMS marketing.

The big difference between our app and other group messaging apps is that we sort the responses for you!

So the app will tell you who has said yes or no. Makeloop will also tell you who has chosen the various poll options you have set. This saves your time and decreases hassle sorting through emails or SMS responses. It’s clear interface makes it easy to use.

A brilliant feature is that you can send customised unique replies to individual responses so you could remind them of the details eg. ‘Great! See you in the boardroom Tuesday at 10.30am’ or ‘Too bad, you’re going to miss out on a great football game!’.

There could be a change of venue that you want to tell the group ‘The party has been moved to 26 High Street please acknowledge!’.

Also once a decision has been made you can use the app to send a message to everyone letting them know the finalised attendance or decision.

Other functions:

Create contact groups from your Gmail, Phone or Facebook contacts
Send reminders to contacts who have not responded
Create new contact groups out of a list of contacts who have given a particular response.
Copy communication events to easily create similar events
Send the results of the yes/no or poll questions by email to your contacts
Allocate incorrect responses to a particular response
Monitor changed responses
Set time limits on communication events.

Try it for FREE now on the Android Market.

Cologne (Germany) – October 14th, 2011 – mobivention announces the update of 3D Mahjong Mountain for Android smart phones and tablets. The base version of the game which includes a lot of features will be offered for free in the Android Market. A Gold version coming with no advertisement and regular updates of new levels is available for download as well.

With a 3D gaming board, several levels and numerous opportunities for individualisation, 3D Mahjong Mountain takes its players into an exciting world. The game is based on a Chinese classic game. The goal is to find matching game pieces and eliminate those. The rules say that at least two sides of the aimed piece must be exposed, which is not always an easy task. Additional difficulty levels are integrated by offering different game layouts and different pilings of the pieces.

3D design and multi touch implementation make the gaming experience easy and enjoyable. The gaming pieces can be viewed, enlarged and selected from every possible angle. This way, even half-hidden pieces can be discovered easily. The 3D view of the high quality graphics creates an exciting path to becoming a Mahjong master.

The following features are included in the base version:
- 3D gaming board
- Multi touch navigation
- Numerous background images
- Numerous gaming piece designs
- Several levels of difficulty, including a training mode
- Help functions, e.g. view selectable pieces, shuffle mode etc.
- Facebook and Twitter integration
- Single levels or campaign play
- OpenFeint integration as game community
3D Mahjong Mountain is now available in the Android Market.

This new version has not only fixed several bugs but also come along with some very good and new features. In fact one of the features will help you save a lot of time and battery life. Now users will also be able to assign notifications that are specific to the label and find it convenient to sync only priority emails.

Therefore, those who pour innumerable email accounts into one primary Gmail account and use a number of labels to organize things can easily set up plenty of different types of notifications for official purpose, emails received from friends and family members. Besides, the new feature that allows a user to control what application uses his/her gadget’s battery life, is definitely a great addition. Gmail users will now also be able to block the images on their mail using their Android phones. In addition to this, the new update also allows users to turn off sticky message related actions in landscape mode or even in all the other orientations. It also offers TalkBack support and other types of improvements in its performance.

With this new project, Mozilla will use a foundation from Android and create an operating system for the web, which utilizes Gecko, HTML5 rendering engine of Firefox. If you thought that is going to be very similar to Motorola Motoblur and HTC Sense, then perhaps you are wrong. Instead of making feature and cosmetic changes, B2G will overhaul Firefox using technologies from the web and very less of Android. The OS will offer support for Android Java native programming, however, Mozilla basically plans to restrict the overall influence of Android in order to create something really different.

So, if you are thinking why Android is being used at all, then you must know that Mozilla that has already championed HTML5 and is capable of doing some incredible things with it, the company feels that web technology has not reached a point from where their features can safely with the features offered by iOS and Android. Mozilla intends to utilize B2G to set standards for development of web applications. In addition to this, the project will also serve as a tool for promoting and encouraging even more web-based developments.

So, if you ever created a Hotmail account for yourself you will be able to use it and also enjoy SkyDrive and Messenger on your phone now.

Microsoft has also pointed out that these tools are really going to be easy to use and will be seamlessly integrated for mobile phone users. Users will have to sign in just for once and they will be able to access their Live account across different third-party applications. They will also be providing developers with easy to use instructions and sample code

However, while Microsoft will be more than keen to introduce Windows Live for mobile phones, what the company fails to notice is that people have now got accustomed to using iOS, Android and Mac OS X platforms. Amidst so much of competition it is very unlikely that Windows Live app for mobile will actually be able to create a space for itself.

The IMDb app has been formatted all over again for the Honeycomb based tablets. However, it continues to offer similar features including browsing of local showtimes, read news based stories, browse new movies and TV shows etc. Besides, users can also see acting credits, cast lists, trivia, release info and quotes. The Google Shopper 2.0, which is essentially a new application for shopping is full of attractive discount. It also provides coupon offers and also shows offers that are nearby for Google Places.

The EA Scrabble Free (Android 2.1+) application can now be downloaded from the Android Market. People who till now had been using Words With Friends and Word Feud can now use Scrabble effectively as it offers both recognition of name and familiarity.

Scrabble offers three game modes including Play A Random Opponent, Pass N’ Play and Play With Friends. In the Play a Random Opponent mode, you will find a real and live opponent to compete with, whereas the Playing With Friends mode allows you to create user names so that you can face challenges from contacts using different platforms (and not only those having Android). The game can support as many as fifty matches simultaneously. It also offers teaching mode that allows a user to learn the tricks to play the game better and an ability to chat with enemies after the conclusion of the match, if your mobile phone has Android 2.2 or even higher.

The application does a great job by notifying a user when his/her opponent has played and it’s their turn to put a word. The moment you swipe and then tap the Scrabble icon present in the tab, you will be drawn back into the game.

If no, then you could always consider using it. Pool Party is basically an application, which allows you to create photo pools of images clicked by a group of users. So, the next time you undertake a trip to any of the location then all the people visiting along with you can click pictures using their Android mobile phones and share the images. These pictures will actually be shared between the groups in a pool. The application also allows friends who are a part of the pool to give their comments on all the pictures, receive notifications anytime a new photo is uploaded. The app offers activity stream that monitors all of this.

Pool Party is useful for those users who wish click and images easily. The app also gives an option of uploading images to other services using the Android share function. In addition to this, the Pool Party application has a design that is similar to the Google+ application. While, some people may not find Pool Party app really amazing, they must know one thing and that is for sure that it does not over-complicate things at all.
