With a massive 4.3″ screen, 1 Ghz processor and 512MB of RAM, the Droid X is looking like a beast! Throw in an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p video recording, HDMI output, a huge 1570mAh battery and 8GB of built-in app storage, and it’s even more impressive. The only downside is that it will be launching with Android 2.1 rather than 2.2 (“Froyo”). However, Google and Motorola have promised that 2.2 will land on the phone “later in the summer”.
